CYCLE OF PRAYER

Parish Prayer Cycle: for all in our parish who live or work in Queen Street, Short and Long Wyre Street, Eld Lane and Sir Isaac’s Walk.

Daily Prayer Cycle: for drivers and users of buses and taxis.

Diocesan Prayer Cycle: for the ministry of the Actors Church Union, and everyone involved in the local theatre and entertainment industry in our Diocese.

CHURCH NOTICES

The PCC minutes from the meeting on Wednesday 8th May are available on the table in the Welcome Area.

The Women’s Get Together is taking a break for summer, and will be back in the autumn.

The Ascension Day Communion Service will be at 7:30pm on Thursday 30th May.

Knitter Natter. There will be a meeting of the Knitter Natter group on Wednesday 5th June at 2:30pm in the Choir Vestry.

Flower baskets. William Jolliffe writes: The flower baskets will be up on June 1st. This years’ are for our great St Botolph’s future.

Picnic in the Priory – Saturday 15th June. This year we are again supporting Crafty Drama with their outdoor summer event. We will be providing Teas & Coffees and running as many stalls as we can manage. Proceeds from our efforts will go towards our Church Funds. Please make offers of help, both working on the day as well as providing cakes, plants and other goods for sale (not Bric-a-brac) to Margaret Willoughby, Pauline Palmer or David Poppleton. Cakes can be brought to church any Sunday, if they suitable to be frozen and given to Pauline Palmer.

Saturday 8th at 7:30pm: Salvation Army concert by Jonathan Veira

Sunday 9th at 3pm:  Recital by the students of Theresa Chapman

Sunday 30th at 3pm: Recital by the students of Rebecca Tute
